About me

I am a PhD student at the University of Colorado Boulder with a deep love of the outdoors. Outside of work, much of my life is spent hiking, climbing, skiing, and generally moving through wild landscapes.

These adventures bring me to amazing places filled with incredible scenery, such as towering mountains getting engulfed by storm clouds or a desolate desert just starting to glow in the morning light. I am drawn to landscape photography by the prospect of capturing the subtle emotions these landscapes evoke, and how they change over time. Even the same locations change dramatically through the seasons as they get covered in snow, and day to day as storms move in and light dances through. My photography attempts to capture the unique stories each landscape has to tell and the feelings it evokes.
